If they do, just keep on offering draws until your opponent runs out of paitence and they finally accept the draw offer.
You can only do 3 draw offers(not talking about chess.com games), well at least that's what was taught to me.

Quite look forward to that. Have living proof that you can loose playing Russian without any problem. Did it myself plenty of times. Have to admit that I did not know at the time that it guaranteed a draw.

As far as my arguments on the subject go, I have no indication that Petroff would give any better chances to get à draw than other openings like caro-kann, scandinavian, french or even my beloved taimanov Sicilian. This remark is about savoir vivre and self relativism.
