For the Englund Gambit, isn't the position generally worse for black because two of his pieces are left out in the open, particularly more austere case with the queen?

The idea of the Englund Gambit is to translate a queen pawn opening to a king pawn opening, and is generally a bad idea. However, it has a few traps that, if your opponent falls for, will be down on a lot of material.

Howbeit, the opponent can readily transpose into a King's Gambit, but even so, not so much of a losing position for black.
