Me again, working out my Bongcloud. This time I could force my opponent's resignation before my clock reached 0:00.

I will research on this opening and post more soon"

You cannot move kf4. The pawn blocks it!

Ben_Dubuque

actualy a delayed Bongcloud against Ke2!! can work, the king just needs to move queenside example below

the game would continue on and be realy interesting

I don't feel that enough study has been done on games where a bongcloud opening is initiated by black, instead of white.

True

I've come across

Which I'd like to call Two Knights Defense: Bongclound counter attack.
After

Black sacrifices a rook for insane and unstoppable counterplay Cool

This is an actual game out of my database.

yes but kf3 is a mistake, it brings the king into a direct line of fire better is stopping that with h4! or ignoring his threat by moving elsewere Ke3! for example this negates blacks advantage in king side space and prepares to force your king into the center wherebouts you push pawn after pawn into the mele and bring out your other pieces as needed

Here is one from the first round of the recent Bongcloud Invitational, opted for by my opponent, who gratiosly created a novelty in the process ill post the entire game once its finished

1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 Kf2!

I think this would work, but I'm not sure since I've started studying the Bongcloud and would love a good explanation regarding the general themes (like why you want to rush your king to the other side of the board for example).

Please don't get mad at me if I said something stupid.

This is the "King's Gambit Accepted: Tumbleweed" and has got an ECO code. Search "Tumbleweed" in the Book Openings.

Oh, okay, thanks. I only posted it because it wasn't listed anywhere on this forum.

You'd be surprised of how many King's Gambit variations involve moving your king before move 10.

FianchettoThis

Yeah, but most of them don't plan on having your king run around the board the entire game!

Elroch

Sometimes moves that look really bad are really bad. Wasting a move, losing castling rights and making your king more exposed all in a single move is quite an achievement. For the opponent.
