computer analysis

i have tried the computer analysis, and it is so difficult to understand what i should have done and why i should have done it. all of it makes no sense. i guess i understand if i made a blunder, but it is saying that i either made a mistake or blundered the entire time. it is like trying to read a code or something. I'm just having a heck of a time understanding and i might as well forget trying to learn from the suggested moves, because there is no explanation to why any particular move is better than another. I'm not sure but i feel like i am slowly getting worse each day. i actually spend quite a lot of time watching videos because i really like the game, but tactics and strategy along with any other skill building exercise seem to just miss the mark. on the plus side when i play my 7 year old she explains to me why i should make a particular move. its good she enjoys chess. she beats me every time. as a matter of fact she asked if i was trying to lose. i told her the truth and then let her watch a few games i played on here and then she believed me. its kinda crazy to me that i am so bad. i can stare at the board for a long time looking at different moves and at the end when i make a decision the computer coach says something like inaccurate move or worse. no matter how long i look at moves i end up making the wrong one. sometimes i even try to move the other colors pieces. ok well i guess the bottom line is. i would like to make use of the different learning tools on here. i play on 1 or 2 but neither easy. i might as well be playing a gm. its like I'm making traps for myself or something.

If you don't understand a certain line after looking it over, don't worry about it.  Move on and find some you can understand.

You can also post specific questions on the site and someone is likely to provide useful advice.

I don't have time to look over any of your games but based on your ratings you are leaving pieces unprotected, falling for simple tactics, and missing it when your opponent's give you the same type of opportunity.

I would hazard a guess that you are not following opening principles and are attacking before getting most of your pieces developed.

You can probably not worry about using computer analysis for a while and just go over your games and find the places where you didn't follow opening principles, where you left the pieces hanging, where you lost material to a simple tactic. Try to find a move that fixes the error you find.
