Hi I am considering the Gotham courses  for white which are D4 Dynamite or E4 New York Style
as it costs money to buy these courses I reallyy want to know which one I should get.
Appreciate your opinion!

PhantomHeist

the d4 dynamite course gives fatal blows and is very helpful, but the e4 course covers more content as the d4 course has 470 lessons and e4 has 800

I would not spend money on either.
There is better material available for free.

Nothing of quality is free.

I have seen stupid 20-Minute You-Tube videos on the French. They are trash. Full of flaws and you only get a cursory glance of the opening at the 10,000 foot level.

I don't use chessable and cannot speak for the two the OP mentions, but studying published content from books and professional sites like chesspublishing.com are far and away better than some trashy you-tube video or garbage Wikipedia site.

Totally depends on you. But e4 one might be better for the long run since you might get bored with london setups.

Hello,
I don't know if you're still reading this message, but I would still like to tell you about my experiences. When I started playing chess more than 10 years ago, I still used books to learn openings. I often found reading and understanding the positions discussed to be tedious work. With most books I stopped at some point once I understood the basic ideas of the openings.
Now to the Gotham courses. As a YouTuber he can be controversial, but his chess courses are brilliant and in my opinion offer one of the best experiences for learning the game and its openings. In his courses he cleverly uses technology to cover all aspects of learning theory. (Small disclaimer, I work as a teacher at a school). His short videos provide a quick and understandable overview of a variant without overwhelming the learner. Afterwards he includes a study with which you can replay the variant at your leisure. The best feature are the drills, which help you tremendously when learning the moves.
Last but not least, he has now installed a bot with which you can train the variants in games. Unfortunately I haven't been able to test it yet.
When it comes to costs, you should keep in mind that a course from him is not much more expensive than a book or another course provider. Here I can especially recommend his discount campaigns, which he offers regularly.
In my opinion, a clear purchase recommendation if you want to buy a high-quality product for learning chess openings.
