many people prefer berlin some marshall but whatever opening you play you must be aware of your opponents plan and ideas and dangerous attacks .
whatever you play against 3 bb5, (except 3..nd4) you should learn how to handle the exchange variation types of position since white can basically force this on move 4. it doesn't matter too much that white may get an inferior version of it if you don't know how to play your side, or somehow you don't like the type of play that arises.
