e3 e5 e4
It is a way to play black openings with white. It can work if a player likes the black side of Ruy Lopez and other open games.
Moreover, if the opponent (black) never plays 1.e4 with white he may find such a turnaround unpleasant
I sometimes open 1. d3 and if 1. d3 d5 can go for a kings Indian Reversed or some other openings. But I am hoping for 1. d3 e5 where I can reply
1. d3 e5 2. d4 and have my center counter but with color of squares reversed which just helps me.
Sometimes I play the English. but both openings I am addicted to end in a draw when neither side makes an error.
