The Macleod attack still remains in the Chess.com openings section. You'll have to expunge it.
Envented a new opening-how do I get credit 4 it?

Urban dictionary: <<Ponz |
||
A person who has little to no qualities that make them interesting to other people or a certain group of people.>>

You should be joker, troll or total patzer to claim that position after 1. e4 e5 2. c3 Nf6 3. Nf3 Nxe4 4. Qe2 d5 5. d3 Nf6 6. Nxe5 is better for white. Black will play 6...Be7 with 0-0 and Re8 to follow and white will need to waste tempo to move queen out of e-file. Black seems to be at least slightly better.

or ignore it. I mean who ever heard of "Macleod"?
Highlander? C'mon - in the top 5 sword fighting TV shows ever.
Not to mention the movie franchise of the same name. Rivaled only by Underworld.

Pacifique, 2. ... Qh4 also refutes this opening if you are a grandmaster. But I have won hundreds of games with this opening and it has good practical value--I mean how often do we play grandmasters?
Me only 3 times in my life and I played 1. d4 and 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 and 1. e4 d5. [notice I always manage to play the move d5 or d4 when I play grandmasters] Maybe just one move should be named after me??
Oh, I forgot, there IS a move named after me!!!!!

I call it the Macleod Attack. http://www.chess.com/opening/eco/C20_King_Pawn_Game_Macleod_Attack
Not anymore;I renamed it the ponz111,in my Fritz opening book. Others should follow suit shortly. :P
lol

Me! No jokes I was looking at it a few days ago.

Did anyone see the little joke in the name of this "new" opening?
In any event I am one of the few [if any] players on chess.com who in real life had a real opening or move named after him!

Is there a Mr. D'Vivre playing on Chess.Com [someone who had a real opening or move named after him and also on Chess.com]
Anyone, did you or do you see the joke in the name of the opening?

Some of us are slow. Myself included.
And the little joke inside a "1/2 Ponziani scheme" is? Thanks in advance, David.
Is the joke a Ponzi Scheme with no payout? Or no pay-in? Beats me.

Ponzi scheme is a investment fraud where people are promised a large return with little or no risk.
Me asking that a silly, unsound, opening being named after me is me asking for something without paying my dues or taking a real risk. I want a good return for little or no risk.
"Envented" also a clue "4 it" also a little clue.
Than I gave a lot of silly analysis that no player master or above would ever give as "legitimate"
And accepted that 2. ... Qh4 was a good defense. My "analysis" after 2. ...Nf6 was completely stupid.
You know one thing I hate? Canned laughter. You know why? The jokes aren't funny, but people are still laughing. If it ain't funny, no laugh from me.
