At your level play whatever you want. But if you're serious about openings? Then find openings that lead to middle games you like to play.

I would like some suggestions about what to play with white, i'm looking for something that's solid, but exciting, catalan and king's indian attack are what i've found in my searches, maybe king's gambit aswell?. I'm yet to play them, but i would like some other suggestions. To make it clear, i don't want something about tricks, more about a unbalanced position
