I would recommend Ng2 followed by Nf4 and Bg2 to defend Rh1. The mate threats aren't quick enough, and you should be able to hold the position long enough to get some pieces developed.

i''ve been looking into the polar bear system a lot lately and i am unclear as to what white should play after 1. f4 e5 2 fxe5 d6 3 exd6 Bxd6 4 Nf3 g5 5 g3 g4 6 Nh4
All the books say black plays like ne7 to g6 but that doesn't make sense to me. Y not Be7 Ng2 and then h5 5 minutes ago i played as black utilizing this and i crushed some1 but i love playing f4 for white so i need to know what to play against it. I've also seen d4 instead of g3 followed my ne5 but this doesn't look satisfying to me. Plus can't black just play f6 kicking the knight followed by check!!!
