DEAR MEMBERS, I AM REQUESTING YOUR assistance in locating some good free articles on chess opening theory on various openings.
would appreciate any assistance you may give
Yo Tony! You're a premium member right here - you have access to lots right here. But there are lots of free sources out there, although the information may not be easily organized - and free stuff is often worth just what you pay for it.
But Wikipedia does have a lot of good basic information on openings, and at your level now you don't want to spend all your time on that area of the game - it's a waste. Use the tactics trainer and play, play, play - as slow a game as you can find, then use the computer to help you find your mistakes later.
Chess.com Articles. (found under the top header Read) Use the 'Categories' drop down to choose 'Opening Theory', then Search.
