I play that... as white. The Catalan setup. For the KID I might recommend c5 instead of e5, I feel like white gets a really easy game a lot of the time. In his repertoire book, GM Avrukh mentions that Nc6-e5 isn’t played a lot at top level anymore (but I don’t know how true this is).
And since you’re a benoni player, it would harmonize more than e5. Re8 and Nc6 wouldn’t be as good, since the rook would rather be on f8 after black plays e5.
How do you tackle White's fianchetto setup?

Hi All,
I am generally a KID/Gruenfeld/Benoni player and when I see g3 played against me over the course of opening, I get this distinct feeling of "aw come on!", because I don't like the dynamics of such games where White fianchettoes its kingside bishop (not to mention the double fianchetto).
Do you know of any great ways to tackle White's fianchetto?
In the KID, I like the Re8 Nc6 e5 setup and if White pushes to d5 then Na5 and the whole game turns into positional maneuvering. In the Gruenfeld, I play the c6 setup and it's okay but generally White putting the bishop on 2 ruins the game haha. Anyone else shares the sentiment?
