it's true, engines don't work so well at evaluating openings.

Objectively the only way to get a good chance of an advantage is the Open Sicilian (and the Rossolimo, but you can’t force it). The Alapin and Closed Sicilian are respectable as White shouldn’t be worse an has attacking chances. Keep in mind that White has No chance of an objective edge with these. The Bb5 Grand Prix (and 2. Nc3 Nc6 Bb5 lines are about as great. The Grand Prix (Bc4) is tricky but probably objectively equal at best for White. There’s some other lines like the Wing Gambit, Morra, 2. a3, etc. as well that have some tricks but where White will be the one trying to equalize with best play. Of course there are plenty of other less tricky lines as well that tend to be comfortably equal for Black.

The most solid approaches:

The e6 siccilians are very tricky though, You are on the risk of playing into a najdorf death race.
Soo there is a solution to this.

And the Nc6 siccilians?
...Yeah they suck

There is also another variation that kinda kinda does not suck.

I like what Yasser Seriwan said about the Sicilian. and I am paraphrasing since I do not remember the exact quote. but it is along the lines of, Imagine two men riding a wild tiger and neither know where or when they might be bucked off!
