Yes, 2...e6 is the most natural way to play against Bowlder. Btw there is a chessboard symbol in the upper left corner of the reply window.
White didn't play all that well so the opening wasn't a problem. One thing about 2...e6 is that you need to be ready for transpositions to open sicilians.

hmm, how about how do you response on Nc3 instead of Nf3
As black I almost exclusively play the Sicilian Defense. It is IMO one of the sharpest lines against 1. e4. One of the variations that I have seen lately is the Bowlder attack. I'm not quite sure how to play against this opening. Here's a game that I played in Live Chess today against the said attack. I should have won this game and if I had more time, I probably would have. However a series of mouse slips and blunders took away my win.
Hopefully the chess game comes out right.
