This is the classical main line
I want to play morra, help!

Let me explain the moves a bit more
4...Nc6 I bascially just simple developing move, in almost all lines of the morra smith gambit Black's queenside knight is placed on c6, that's why this moves is made first.
5.Nf3 e6 Black can play e6 or d6 here it doesn't matter what order, e6 is play to prevent attacks on the f7 pawn
6.Bc4 d6 black's plan here is to play d6 and an eventual e5 another possible move here is 6...a6 planning b5 and Bb7, but those line tend to be more tatical, d6 is the simplest and most straight forward plan.
7.0-0 Nf6 a simple developing move black doesn't need to be concern about an e5 push yet
8.Qe2 Be7 another simple developing move allowing black to castle.
9. Rd1 e5 this is a very important move for black, black can allow white to play 10.e5 because the d6 pawn is pinned to the queen.
10. Be3 Bg5 Black developes his last to it's most logical square and pins white knight to it queen.
At this point I would say the position is equal

pvmike wont the last move be with the knight to the wery same square g4? Then you must move your bishop...
And thanks for taking time and explaning that really helps =)
Hi, Ive got some problems on this opening. After the start Ive got a hard time figuring out what to do with my pices I feel like if Im not taking full advantage of this opening and would like some help from you guys with that.
After this Ive got trubble with the move. I try to go out with my bishops to c4 and f4 and N to f3 but after the move e6 Ive got a hard time getting through. What should I do after that move, plae e5 and try to control the center and stop his pices from developing?
