Nxf7 Never a misstake only the destruction of black.
not my quote. I don't have an opinion.

Nxf7 Never a misstake only the destruction of black.
It is not so clear...
Anyway, calling "Ng5 the Fried liver while Nxf7 is the fegatello" just shows your ignorance, so we shouldn't take seriously what u are talking about this opening.
In my opinion, I think the fried liver should only be played once the player is moderately confident with the attack and its different variations. It is good to learn since it so effective, especially against certain types of players (leave you to figure this out if you're interested). Happy Chess!
the fried liver is taking on f7 afaik. in the database, if you dont take, its just the knight attack.
talking on f7 is called fegatello atack
you can ...talk on f7?!
in b4 the edit
Fried Liver is good for White.
Proof?
Statistics, engine evals and overall analysis?
Truth be told, 5... Na5 (Polerio Defense) or 5... b5 (Ulvestad Variation) are much better than 5... Nxd5.
If Black heads for c7 with his King and is prepared to return the material at the right moment then the better player wins.
The Fried Liver Attack holds the award for the coolest opening name in chess. This variation of the Two-Knights Defense involves a bold knight sacrifice which forces the black king to take a walk. This variation is also known as the Fegatello Attack, an Italian term which means "dead as a piece of meat!"
The key position in the Fried Liver Attack.
Let's take a look at what moves bring about this opening:
In Italian, fegatello doesn't mean "dead as a piece of meat". It means small liver. That's how they call a dish made of fried pork liver. It looks this way:
Fried Liver is good for White.

Statistics, engine evals and overall analysis?
Only the first applies, if you include woodpusher games.
The thing is, there aren't many master games playing the Fried Liver Attack, I wonder why...
Fried Liver is good for White.
Proof?
Statistics, engine evals and overall analysis?
Only the first applies, if you include woodpusher games.
And also Stockfish dev doesn't think highly of it:
