if black play traxler in bullet, he has better chance of winning.(as he knows the lines and white needs time to remember variations)

Hi i have two things to say i am defintly weaker than a IM.But here is my opinions and i have resereched about the  traxler in the past first Bxf7 is not the best its inferior to Nxf7  but white in most positions is over +1.00 i know that dosent mean anything  since you are not computers but if you know a couple of lines you can saifly defened.Seconed IM pfren(this is why said i am weaker than a IM) said i wouldn't bother as black with d5 and Na5 but the thing is black has a easy game and more wining chaces than playing 3.Bc5 4.c3(where white will get a dangeroues attack) or 4.d3(you both have the same position but a tempo down) and in the d3 lines the bishop is better at e7.

Edit:This is just my opinion based on my experience if i am wrong dont attack me correct me.

And IM pfren it says in the dvd you sent a black repertoire against the two knigtsl.

If you're a computer then yes. Doesn't stockfish put white something around +2? But it's so complicated that humans won't find perfect moves.

Everything! Except the critical 5.Bf7 and 5.d4 lines, as well the best lines after 5.Nf7 for White.

please stop jokes & analyse how it could be applied in bullet chess!

Robert_New_Alekhine

IT WAS REFUTED ON PAGE 3!

The_Ghostess_Lola

I like the Wilkes-Barre.

Yes, because one move is proof of anything...the advantage is rather small. How do you improve on Anand's loss to Beliavsky in Linares 1991?

Schussler annoted this game for chessbase: After 14.Rg3 White was much better, and after 20.Rg5 White was even winning.

Tarrasch understood 4. Ng5?! is not very good move, but he didn't know exactly why. Today, we know: black can play 4. ... Bc5! (Traxler).

Bc5 is more of a gift than a refutation.

Except that white is better of course.

Polar_Bear

In my (not alone) opinion, Traxler is 100% sound.

Yes, white may appear seemingly better, but has to defend accurately to secure a draw.

Robert_New_Alekhine

It definetly is, as we saw from page 1!

Polar_Bear

It is matter of taste. I used to play both and both give black enough for sacrificed material.

IMO, black should play 3. ... Nf6 and not 3. ... Bc5 to avoid Evans.

The real problem with black is that above certain level, 90% of white opponents prefer Ruy.
