Is The wayward queen attack any good if you can just play knight to avoid?

Wayward Queen always works when someone uses it on you, but never when you try to use it.

If it's such a crap opening by your standards, why do so many people play it? Right, because you don't see it at your level. You're so far away from where the vast majority of people are.

It's not as bad as, let's say the Damiano's defense, which is losing by force. The Wayward Queen Attack is simply not great because white gets a lead in development and black's queen gets kicked around a bit. It's played a lot at lower ratings because lots of people fall for early queen attacks, and not seen much at higher ratings (say around 1000 and above, but I'm just estimating, it's probably not correct) because people don't tend to fall for queen attacks. Seems pretty simple to me.

Yeah, if only I could ever reach these "higher ratings". I'm so fricking sick of trying and just getting exploited.

Yeah dude its tough. I was stuck at 600-800 for like a year (on an old acc) and kept fluctuating around those ratings. If I could give you some secret chess sauce I would XD. The next best thing to improve are probably Daniel Naroditsky's speedrun series on youtube. He also has an endgame series that is really helpful.

I'm not allowing, for example, someone wanting to play a game and making it seem like they're there to help me, then hiding the fact that they make the game fully rated, crush the life out of me and insult me to death, just for free fricking points. I never claimed, implied, insinuated, or telepathically communicated that I am a chess expert or authority in any way. I would never say that because I'm only 1395 rated. Please don't group together all 1300s as idiots because not all of us are. Not sure why you're being a bit hostile toward me, either. I'm just trying to answer the OP's question, and help some people out along the way with what small chess knowledge I have.

I couldn't care less about how you think or feel. Or about anyone else here anymore, to be brutally honest. Every time I seek help, I'm misled, lied to, shouted down, insulted... I'm done asking for help. I'm done trying to improve. I've accepted that this is as far as I'll ever go, not just because this is my limit, but because ALL of you have a vested interest in screwing everyone rated below yourselves. This is my way of fighting back.
