This is my analysis of the very aggressive Muzio Gambit variation of the King's Gambit

9... Qf5

tmkroll

also 4... Bg7, of course, for those playing it safe.

and as White 7. d3 and 8. d3 and I think there's actually a line with Nc3 to sac the Bishop a different way that some people think is promising.

I believe 10... Qxb2 is actually a mistake.

I thought White was already winning after 9... Qxd4. Is there any way out of it for Black?

I don't think so. I think that white has a perfect attack while black has only been moving his queen around.

After 10..Qxd4 black is pretty much lost. He only taking pawns while white is about to force the king out to the center.

Oraoradeki

played a fun loss.

10...Qg7 gives White at least a draw with 11
Qxf4+! Nf6 12 Bd4 Be7 13 Nc3 d6 14 Bxf6!
Bxf6 15 Nd5 Nd7 16 Rae1 Re8! 17 Qc4!
Rxe1 (17...Ne5? 18 Nxf6+! Nxc4 19 Nxe8+
Kg6 20 Nxg7 Kxg7 21 Re8 intending 22
Rff8±) 18 Nxf6+ Kg6 19 Qg4+ Kf7 20 Qc4+.
But White also has several opportunities to
play for a win, for example 19 Qd3+ Kf7 20
Nh5+!?, or earlier 16 Nxc7?! or 16 Qc4!? -Millican

but seriously even the Chess.com computer can find 9... Qf5. That's funny.

Agreed. Steinitiz 9...Qf5 is clearly the better move.

I find it not sound if it is used against an experienced opponent.
