3.g3 is ok, and the line 2...Qh4+!? is certainly playable but probably more dangerous for black than for white, since the first player usually gets a nice lead in development at no material cost. Okay but what about 1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf4 3.d4 and then Qh4,the threat is bigger because on the one everyone talks about you just go g3 and the queen moves,but here the threat is if you do g3 they take the rook

I love the King's Gambit. I even named my account after it. But whenever someone whips out their queen I have a hard time kicking it. IE:
