Oooh, but I do @AthenaTheChessClub! It's amazing and I usually play it against people lower rated than me. Against people higher rated than me, I usually just play my boring old Colle Zukertort as it's a solid opening that is hard to crack!

If someone is attempting to win fast, then it's a poor opening not a good one. Chess isn't that easy.

IMHO this iis too harsh. There are opening traps in lots of (good) openings. For example QGA with e3 and the rook trap after b5, a6.......and Qf3.

But e3 is not White's best move in the QGA. It's not even the second-best.

I stand by my assertion: playing for a quick knock-out nearly always means playing inferior moves.

Sorry but that rule is not correct. One example amoung many others is the two knight défense: Whites go for a quick knock out with 3.Ng5 and it's not an inferior move or bad move for whites.

ROL I play e3 in the QGA and i am 2100 national rating

st0ckfish

i am 0 national rating and i play a3 move one.

hello i am a chessmaster...

You're the first 600-rated chess master I've ever encountered.

I know I am very good please help

sorry, but a 600 ELO rating isn't that good. There are grandmasters with 2200 ratings, 600 is the default when you first start chess.com

Try the Evans gambit if you want the fast wins, the kings Indian is definitely slow and strategic tempo

Nice, a bit {boring} though... (not really boring, but slow and and very calm} ... Honestly, though I won't recommend it to a begginer, they will simply forget the first few moves 😂

To be clear, I mean the Scotch Gambit and not the regular Scotch Game as that is indeed boring!

The Skandinavian is even better. I wrote a book about it in 1997. Let's call it the "Anti-Bongcloud".

To ask the Vienna gambit is by far the greatest possible move that can get us victory in terms of time , highly recommend if the practice and timing is perfect then a victory on the cards adieu

White should have played 2. Ke2 in that game. Also, you typed the result incorrectly.

GM_Matthias_Wahls

It is debatable whether 2.Ke2 is an improvement. With Stockfish indicating -2.5 pawn units, the result will be the same most of the time. But the suffering is longer.

The result was not typed, btw. Blame the Chess.com software for it.
