I think this is fine for white, and am willing to play the white side of this against any skeptic.

You can play anything.  And no move, no matter how bad, is going to be catastrophic right off the bat.

But this is clearly junk.  And it's obvious you only want to defend it to be "different."  That's fine.  But it's junk all the same.

It is playable but i don't even play it anymore.zboina...i don't think anyone would play the same boring move back to Bf1 maybe Be2 lolxD

in the ruy, white goes Bb5-a4-b3-c2, so I figure Bd3, c3, Bc2 isn't too bad a system. It really is just an accelerated Kopec
