the only problem I have with this is 3.Nf3 and 4.d3.
matrix attack defeated!

That's cool but watch: If Nf3 is played, then you simply play d6, if d3 is played, you play a move that would chase the enemy queen away such as a left-sided fienchetto for black, such as playing g6
this IS a simple and effective defense to this dubious trappy white line however i still feel black has better, or at least safer, I like the Nf6 line better you usually gain a tempo or even two during development and have better knights, you can wait to develop your queen. if you have trouble falling into the traps then i guess Qf6 is an easy move to follow up.

cool!

IMO, better is:
I was going to suggest that line too. After the typical 3. Bc4, Black can play 3...g6 or 3...Qe7 which I would label =/+.

Matrix attack (actually the Parham attack) is actually a Beginner's opening, easily refuted if you think about it...

Not really, most of the moves are pretty natural to play as black. I had this played once against me and I ripped that opponent to shreds. Granted, that was a patzer though trying for a quick trap on me.

I like a healthy stack of blueberry pancakes with each layer separated by a layer of butter drowned in syrup.
Pancakes are better than waffles because they have layers to add additional ingredients.

that's cool, and thanks for posting the game, but what about the fact that the inventor of the opening won a scholastic tournament, just by playing 100% matrix style.

The actuall name for it is Parham Attack, not Matrix, but cool name anyways
google matrix chess, you'll then see what I'm talking about, Matrix is a theory based on the geometry of the pieces, and believe it or not, the Matrix theory says that the bishop is equal in power to the rook! I don't know about that being true! Maybe the name of the actual line is the Parham Attack, but Matrix is not just one line, it's a whole system on playing the game! :)

Yes, but if you aren't booked up on it and you encounter it unexpectedly OTB, your clock suffers a little!
yes, that is true, many "o.k" players get tricked by it the first time, SOMETIMES even the second time! :)

I really enjoy waffles with maple syrup, fresh bananas and a sprinkle of nutmet :)
You're making me hungry, how does that have to do with chess: It helps your brain function because you're eating food, and that helps chess, great idea! :)

I don't get the sudden food stuff...
mhh, breakfast. To reply to your comment: When a very silly or repetitive thread shows up some of the more experienced forum surfers like to hijack threads with talk about food, and especially breakfasts. Personally I find this somewhat limiting and think we'd all be better served (no pun intended) by expanding our palette to include other meals such as brunch, lunch, dinner or even party snacks. To that end I'd just point out that I think that well made nachos are almost a perfect food.

To wit:

This is all well and good, but the gambit with 2. ...Kt-KB3 (Nf6) ! is Black's best here... even if most GM's don't know about it yet. Black should emerge the better side every time, due to the exposed position of White's queen. Don't believe me? Check this video out:

This is not the first premium video you have linked me to. I think it is generally bad form to constantly reference content most people don't have access to in your posts.
Here's a tip to prevent the matrix from being super powerful, and if you don't know, the matrix is an unorthodox opening for white which goes, 1.e4, e5 2. Qh5.
It can be very deceiving, so watch this very effective defense, and please comment:
