In ECO, Nc3 is C41a, Bc4 is C41b, d4 is C41c. All of them are good moves. It is hard for computer to analyse the opening since normally the depth is about 15. Just pick your favorite and learn it.
I'm only two moves in to the opening.
1. E4 E5 2. Nf3 d6
The standard response seems to be 3. D4 . But when I check it out on my analysis engine (maybe it's just a crappy engine) it shows me that nc3 is actually a stronger move?
