Do you think it is actually worth learning some?

From what I can see, it could just get your mind thinking during a game if a board is an open variation or closed (for example), which could lead to making mistakes. What do you think?

very interesting idea m8, I think supergrandmasters already thought about it and built into their respective repertoires the idea of 'variations' as u call.
