Another reason for me to not play the Sicilian: White has 20 moves he can play on move 1 after the Sicilian, and even in the Open Sicilian there's a million ways White can play and have a comfortable position. Give me 2 reasons to play the Sicilian or other absurd stuff GMs play like the Ruy Lopez or QGD.

okay troll. that last part proved it. how tf is the ruy lopez or qgd absurd but the scandinavian is better?
Scandinavian has something that rl or qgd don't have: A comfortable game and theoretical lines you can count with your hand. In the Nf6 Scandi, you have comfortable positions and straightforward plans. In Masters' openings, people have a million ways to play and they choose the most drawish one. I cannot do this, I cannot play something and adapt depending on my opponent's weapons in general. Masters play unbelievably impractical positions and hope their theory deep of 20 moves in the Sicilian will grant them a free draw. Why don't you destroy chess faster by playing a Petroff or something with repetition early on? I'm not a GM, because I don't want to. I prefer having fun with comfortable positions to play than dumb opening lines by masters.

i feel like the reason for that is because the french exchange is more symmetrical than the caro kann exchange, and i don't think anyone likes french exchange

Sicilian at one is reasonable and French and Caro up there is good, but e5, the top computer move, the number two move in the master database, the most concrete, objectively good, and resistant defense, at number EIGHT?!
apparently the duras gambit, losing a pawn and severely weakening your king, is less bad than h6, which does nothing but at least slightly improves your position
The pirc is lower than the Owens, which is barely sound, and the st. george, which barely accomplishes anything?

@olster2112 the opening I use against another opening are called "weapons". It's just sounds very cool. I just want one situation where the sicilian or e5 can be sharp for both sides despite 0.0 in both. Yes, I like when I get a comfortable position despite being "dubious", that's the beauty of chess: I don't play what's best, I play what seems to me the best. That's the exact reason I'm really selective when choosing a repertoire, because of intuition, not because of Stockfish. I don't play the Sicilian because it's cramped, and I don't play e5 because White has a million ways to annihilate me.
Sorry about my anger when you put Scandi 7th place, just it deserves better.
