Bxc6   bxc6

Kxc6.(win one pawn)

More like Nxc6. If bxc6, then Bxc6, pinning the rook and the king while capturing a pawn so it would be a knight trade and a bishop for a rook for white, putting white up about 3 pawns. If black doesn't recapture with the pawn, he'd have to move his queen out of danger, and he's already lost a knight. White's in a great situation here.

I thought about this combination as well, but dosn't Black solve the problem by playing Qd7 after Nxc6 ? The pawn and queen is a threat to the white knight, and If the knight moves, the queen simply takes the white bishop. I know it looks very dangerous putting the queen on d7, but is there a better solution somewhere?

I actually think that Bxc6 is a better start from this position, winning the pawn and messing up blacks pawn structure alot, the endgame will probably be whites to dominate.

Another thing I have to add is that whites kingside looks very very weak and all active arsenal of black is pointing right at it.  Both bishops, the knight on d4 and blacks queen are all ready to jump in to the action.

Why not simply 1.f3?

I actually think you're right. I can't help worrying about black playing Qh4. But maybe it looks worse than it really is.

This   is the riga variation in the Spanish, its well known

This is actually a decent reply for Black.  Mainline should go Nxc6 Bxh2+! Kh1! (Kxh2 draws to Qh4+) Qh4 Rxe4! dxe4 Qd8+ Qxd8 Nxd8 Kxd8 Kxh2.  Black is a pawn up, but White's bishop pair will cut up Black's position.

Be7 and Nxe4 are perfectly viable options.  Nxe4 is less solid, but insures better piece activity.  Be7 appeals to players who like to play lines such as the Chigorin or Breyer.  It is just a matter of taste.

 1.Nxc6, ...Qd7 2.Qxd5 (putting pressure on e4 knight while protecting c6 square)

 I was thinking of   2. Qxd5, Bh2+ 3. Kh2 , Qxd5    .. but soon realized it would be crushed after 3. Nb4+

Qxd5 is indeed a great move, black is totally falling apart since the C6 square is defended once again and the defender of E4 Knight is removed.

This is so pointless.  I already gave you the mainline which is Bxh2+ after Nxc6.  Kh1 is the only move. (Kxh2 leads to a draw and Kf1 gives Black an enormous attack after Qh4)  Then Qh4 followed by the saving Rxe4! dxe4 Qd8+ Qxd8 Nxd8 Kxd8 Kxh2.  In practice, this is scoring really well for White.
