Scandinavian defence

Thinking about changing to the scandinavian defence sense i'm moreof an attacking player. good idea?

Cool. I play The Scandinavian!  It is my main weapon against 1. E4!  Which variation will you be playing?  The Nf6 line or the Qxd5 line?  If Qxd5 Nc3 where will you retreat the queen to?  If Nf6 will you play Nxd5 or will you play Bg4?

Nf6 so i don't have to deal with my queen being out early :) + the icelandic gambit looks very nice!

Sweet. Check out my round 4 post from a recent tournament that I played in.  It's an icelandic gambit.  I think that it's a good model game despite the fact that there are inaccuracies on both sides.

I just seem to get cramped in when i do :/ guess i need to learn how to better open a position.

The Nf6 lines often gives white a territorial advantage, if you feel you're getting cramped in the 1.e4 e5 lines, the Nf6 Scandinavian won't be your salvation.

I don't really like the Scandinavian myself (unless i'm white) but i used to play it and nf6 is the better way to go. The queen just has to undevlop to a corner or be traded were in both cases white gets to develop rapidly.
