Yet more garbage by a 1000 player. Forget about Openings. You are clueless with them.
Black's play is horrendous, and White has better 8th moves. 8.Bg5 Be7 9.Nxh4 Bxg5 10.Qh5+ g6 11.Nxg6 along with 8.O-O are completely winning for White.
Give it up kid - Study endgames!

^With all due respect, Patrick, that's quite the rude response. The OP didn't make it clear what he wanted out of this thread. Maybe he wanted advice about where white went wrong.
To give some useful advice, if black intends on playing a gambit with 2...e6 (which is probably a pretty poor gambit anyway), he certainly shouldn't play 3...Ne7. Instead 3...Bxe6 gives a faint hope of partial compensation...probably not, but better than the game.
ThrillerFan's suggestion of 8. Bg5?? is actually a disaster for white after the table-turning Nxf3+, followed by Qxg5. But after 8. Qe2+, black will have to play either Qe7 or Be7, after which Nxh4 just wins more material, since whichever piece black moved to e7 will now not be able to capture that knight back.

1. . . . d5 is my favorite D vs. 1. e4. The most successful response percentage-wise against my lines has probably been the highly unusual 2. d4. So the comment about "garbage" is inappropriate, I'd say.

dpnorman, yes, 8.Bg5 is a blunder - not like I put a ton of effort in the position with how bad the line for Black is to begin with. The simple 8.O-O probably wins easily also.
As for your statement about rudeness, he's a repeat offender. Suggesting pure garbage just the other day as well in another horrible made of line of trash of his. The first time you do such a thing, it's merely mentioned, and suggested you go elsewhere instead of trying to re-invent the wheel on openings. Repeat offender? My response is what you get! Last thing the rest of the chess players under 1800 need to see is garbage lines from a 1000 player!
A 1000 player should be asking questions, not trying to demonstrate useless horse****

I don't think he's calling the move 1...d5 "garbage". Rather, he probably refers to the ensuing two-pawn sacrifice that black played, which got him a lost position right out of the opening.
1...d5 is a good move. Nothing wrong with it, at least not at sub 2600-level, provided that you respond to 2. exd5 with 2...Qxd5 and not 2...Nf6, which I think nowadays is considered to give white a solid advantage after either the standard 3. d4 or Caruana's 3. Bb5+.

No, you don't understand. I never said 1...d5 is garbage. His constant waste of material is garbage. It's the moves AFTER 1...d5. 2...e6 is garbage. Allowing White to take on f7 is garbage. Losing castling rights is garbage!

Yeah I know. The above poster in #5 was trying to say that you were criticizing 1...d5, and I was telling him that the "garbage" you were referring to was not the first move.

Yeah, I see it now, misread your post 6.
The author of post 5 is also apparently clueless.
Here's another prime example of garbage the OP posted a few days earlier - if this isn't enough to explain my point that this guy is a repeat poster of garbage that does nothing to help and is merely a detriment to anybody under 1500, I don't know what is:

^Well I think in that game white was playing chess and black was playing Suicide Chess. Both sides won.
