Hi guys

I Shravan ,

I love Chess a lot .I play scotch gambit as white and French defense as black.I am comfortable and flexible with French defense .but the problem is scotch gambit. In scotch gambit I am able to win the game if my opponent does a mistake. or else I am struggling alot while playing against a high rated player and this opening does not contain much amount of tactics .in fact I am attending a 1800below tournament in 4 days .so guys please suggest me a good variation in scotch gambit

There probably is not time to get Chess Openings for White, Explained by Alburt, Dzindzichashvili & Perelshteyn (2006), even if you want to, but it is a book that, if I remember correctly, advocates 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 d4 exd4 4 Bc4.
