You know I hate 1. d4
How come?
I am a 1.e4 player
You hate 1. d4 because you are an e4 player. I'm not sure I get your logic. You're saying you hate that opening because you play something else?

1. d4 is quite annoying for many people
if u are 1250, openings are not the problem.
What u play is fine, no need to change : just try to play it better!

Actually now I'm 1500
I have changed my opening many times for white :
1. My first coach always played the Sicilian and I was prepared for that with the Alapin
2. But then, a player played e5 when I played e4 and I actually didn't know how to play against it
3. I learned to play the Center Game
4. I began losing many games when I reached 1250 so I had to switch my opening again
5. Switched to the Italian, I loved to play the Fried Liver but when I reached 1325 many people did not fall for the Fried Liver and ended up losing and to be honest, I found a bit difficult but then I won a few games with the Fried Liver and reached 1375
6. I switched to the Scotch Harry Potter variation and I reached 1500 with that opening
7. Should I switch to the Italian Giuoco Pianissimo because I currently think its very aggressive. In fact, I beat the GothamChess bot with that opening, Have a look at it :-

What do you think? Is the opening really so strong? Or was it because of the middlegame/endgame play?
Any opening can be strong when the player understands how to utilize it. If you like playing the Italian Giuoco Pianissimo, stick with it. It is a solid choice. Then all you need to do is find something against the Two Knights defense that doesn't rely on the Fried Liver Attack and you will have your 1.e4 e5 games covered (With the exception of the Petrov Defense). If you decide to change from there, the Ruy Lopez might be the most logical progression.
Try to play through GM games of any opening that you look into. You will have an idea of what type of positions to expect, what moves are common.

Whatever, my advice still applies.
And 1250-1500 are almost same levels u know...
Any of the mainstream opening are fine! It makes almost no difference which one you choose. Your results are determine by two things: 1)The mistakes and blunders you make, and 2)The mistakes and blunders your opponents make that you let them get away with. Improve in those areas and your rating will soar. Waste your time farting around with different openings, and you will stay right where you are
You should always have a frontline opening choice but try new openings also. Like my frontline choices are the Ruy Lopez and the Bishop's opening however i am planning to try the London or Catalan. You should try to gradually gain experience in the openings that are your frontline and check the ideas in other openings. Sometimes you can use ideas from that opening in your frontline also.

Also you must love the opening you play. If you dont love it , playing it is extremely depressing.
try the goring if you're already a scotch. I'm looking forwards to playing it in my danish sidelines. looking at it from black's perspective, the goring's the hardest to get beyond = against, with most players allowing black to steinitz and punish them hard, but i found no refutations against the goring move order
