Could anyone tell me what to look for when playin Sicilian as black and what not to do.

Oh wow.  I mean the whole thing is about getting an unbalanced position.  Beyond that is theory.  No way to make it easy, sorry.  You're going to hate me, but do some ChessMentor and see if learning principles doesn't help. Laughing

You usually want to play a6 and b5 and get Queenside counterplay, which is helped by the open c-file. Other than that, it's all theory like Baddogno said.

I want to play the Sicilian dragon so can you please tell me the theory for that.

When I first tried, I played very well with it so I would like to know more about it.

Dragon: who knows more theory wins.

I played the Dragon for the first two years I played chess without knowing any Yugoslav Attack theory beyond move 10 or so. When I started facing better opposition and needed to learn all the theory I switched, but I'm still glad I played that opening because I'm more comfortable in opposite side castling positions as well as gained an understanding about fianchettoed kingsides. Plus it prepared me better to play the Accelerated Dragon, which is one of the Sicilians I use now.

I'd suggest to Ram that you try the Accelerated Dragon too, probably your opponents won't realize the difference and you'll just be up a tempo compared to the normal Dragon.

yeah have fun playing the dragon your opponents will give you the rossolimo and SMG and all these annoying sidelines and youll get a mainline after 30 annoying games

How is that different from any Sicilian?

I like all the sidelines against the Sicilian. It makes the opening more rich and interesting.
