Hello,

I'm a club player but despite my very low rating I play in national tournaments and I won my country's U14 tournament and I played in the Arab chess championship. I also travel and play in international tournaments occasionally.

However, I won't be having too much time to study on openings next school year, so I'd like to play only 3 openings: A system with white, A system against d4, c4, and Nf3 with black, and an opening against 1.e4.

What do you recommend as an opening system (preferably not an 1.e4 one) with white? I'm currently leaning towards the ritcher-veresov opening as it is tactical but I'm not sure if it is a good opening to specialize in as there are some players who prepare against me. I also like the KIA but I'm not sure what to do if black takes the e4 pawn, as the position changes a lot. Can somebody recommend a good opening system for white?

I already decided on the Qd6 Scandinavian as black, but I still need a system as black that I can play against the other 3 popular options for white (1.d4, 1.Nf3, 1. C4). Can someone recommend something that I can play against all 3 of them?

thank you in advance!

As white tactical opening I don't know too much since it depends too much on blacks defense. Against Nf3, c4 and d4 the KID?

As white, I want an opening with the possibility of early tactics or an early kingside attack almost regardless of whatever black plays.

And as black, I'm aware that the KID is a good system but it needs a lot of studying, and I'm not sure if I have enough time

I Understand, as white I played a lot the London like suggested which can sometimes get tactical but it's more quiet and positional. Some people have a specific opening against c4 and d4 so at least with the KID you've two in one. I guess you could also play some sort of QID with Nf6, e6 and b6 set up? People playing the english aren't too used of it, it has solid reputation and works against those three I guess (not an expert!) . Theory wise It probably has it fare share but I think a little less than KID.

Leningrad Dutch is a solid option against d4 and flank openings, and gives good chances of a kingside attack. C-Z, Qd6 Scandinavian and Leningrad sounds like a reliable low-maintenance repertoire.

Italian game, sometimes fried liver attack for white. For black, the Benko gambit against d4 and Sicilian Dragon against e4
