Success with the grob

The grob attack (1.g4?!) is more of a meme opening than an actual one, and is pretty terrible in classical otb chess. But recently I have been scoring victories by employing the grob in 5/2 games. Though objectively poor, it has many traps within, so I think it's not a bad choice in blitz.

If the opponent doesn't care about the position and is just 'move move move' then it might not.

What's so amazing about a weak player making a sketchy presentation of a line that loses almost by force?

Pfren, it's not like you could do any better.
