I never play d4 so I don't need to worry about that, though the 1.e4 patzer opening might be the KG
The Queenside Fried Liver

jetfigher that's true, the parham is the way to go.
shepi, qg = 1/2
nachtwulf, that's true but a game couldn't settle all of the lines

Another question - Why is this called the queenside fried liver. The fried liver attack isn't the move Ng5, but rather Nxf7. If it was a fried liver you would meet Na6 with Nxc7+ obviously, but that is a failure.

me too for that challange, just unrated, cause the rating does't matter, plus I only like rated games for serious encounters, this is just for opening study, and will be friendly, I will not bash anyone.
Nacht white doesnt do qxd4 he does nb5, it wont let me quote my comments just check pages 10 and 11 for all refutations and i will challenge you tommorrow

NachtWulf that is why experienced players never chose that patzers opening , That is the first attack novices learn when playing d4 with the white pieces there is nothing new here !
I'm afraid that I am a novice myself in that regard, since I never actually looked at queen's pawn openings (1. d4 d5 etc.) until now. It's never too late to learn, though!

I will stick with my KG gavinator, plus ever here of Sarcasm, Spassky used it, Fischer used it, Short beat Kasparov with it, pretty strong players who used it I think

It's actually quite difficult jet fighter - even in master games (they are experts at defense) white scores extremely well.

yeah, but white is by no means fully won, Black has some shots of his own, especially with the traxler Instead of d5 when Ng5 its Bc5

Yeah, but the traxler is refuted by Bxf7+ which just wins a pawn. I think that the only legitimate way to play the two knights is with d5 exd5 Na5 which is a legitamite opening.

Is this what you're talking about?

jetfigher, you're opponent made some obvious mistakes. however it was a win, but in a correspondence game. I don't like to count those as skill, as cheating is easy with engines/discussion with other players.
d4 d5 c4 wins
