I was interested in it for a minute, liking how it's a gambit that sounds like "hacks so", but it doesn't have the best stats and/or requires a repertoire to go with it and decided against it. The accepted main line is brutal, but opponents don't have to cooperate

I've been playing the haco gambit for a week now and only one opponents took the gambit. Not many players seem to be taking the gambit.

is the OP consistently confusing "c" and "e" in his notation? It looks as if he is simply describing the Scotch Gambit: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd4 4.Bc4

Haxo gambit comes from the Scotch gambit. It is a gambit on top of the Scotch to be more precise.

I looked it up once after someone played it against me.
