Ultimate 1. e4 challenge

@CastawayWill - Save that thought, I'll play it, too, once this challenge is over (I'll be in Team Nf3 for that one).

In any case, to all looking to join a team here, there is no limit on the number of players per team.  If a team has more than seven, the Team Captain will decide which seven play in each match - and will be allowed to change these from one match to the next.  Simply go to the team thread (links to each team thread are on the first post) corresponding to the team you want to join and declare your membership.

The first round of matches is at long last complete!  Sicilian beat Caro-Kann 8-4, while e5 beat French 9-5.

All teams have until January 1st to re-recruit a full roster of seven players.  Team Caro-Kann will be playing Team e5 next, while Team French will face off against Team Sicilian.  I'll post those match threads after the New Year.  Good luck and thanks to all who participated thus far!
