What is your favorite response to 1.d4?

I personally like the Grunfeld or KID, but what about y'all?

Albin Countergambit, if white plays wrong you can underpromote.

E5. I like to feint stupidity (which isn’t hard to do lol) and surprise my opponent with a sideline or tactic.

Other than that, I recently started preparing the Grunfeld along with the transpositions (originally a semi-Slav player) in hopes to play it soon at the cost of my embarrassment but it’s only fun and games. I also need a classical defence for OTB so I figure the Grunfeld and Semi-Slav are decent choices.

I did dabble with the Modern Defence and KID transpositions  but didn’t enjoy the closed positions.

I always prefer imbalance, counter play and opportunities.

1.d4 Nc6

My favourite and only response to d4 is to sigh as loudly as I can, play d5, and wonder why I keep playing the Slav even though I have no idea of its theory beyond the second move.
