I like the Queen's Gambit, Queen's Pawn Opening: Chigorin Variation, and Queen's Pawn Opening: Zukertort Variation. The reason why I like so many 1.d4 opening is because I play 1.d4 if I'm White. ALWAYS.
I just had a decent game with 1. d4 c6, it played in a very Caro-esque motif.

On principle ,I never open w/1.d4, my favorite defense to it is 1 d4 d5.

Queen's Gambit, but for some reason my opponents almost always accept. Come on, make it fun and decline the Queen's Gambit!

You cannot play Wayward Queen Attack with 1.d4. Wayward Queen Attack is a 1.e4 opening.

The reason 1. d4 c6 is not considered a significant opening is not anything to do with the quality of the move. The reason is that after this white decides whether to play 2. c4, 2. e4 or something else, which will determine what opening it can become. After 2. Bf4 d5, you have a variation of the accelerated London system.
