The french. Then I can't play my favorite opening, the bishop's opening.
What opening do you hate facing the most?
Definitely the London system. It is played so much I can't see it anymore. The problem is they aren't even good at it. I never so a london system player that is actually able to deal with different pawn structures.
I recommend a hedgehog structure where you put a pawn on d6. Because you control e5 they don't have the e5-square outpost for their knight. It's quite funny to see ls players moving around aimlessly because they can't bang out 30 moves of robotic plans and moves.
Sjugirov beat London System Expert Kamsky with a hedgehog structure. However, Kamsky played much more actively in that game, because he pushed c4 at some point. Now imagine the average london system player, who will play h3, Bh2 and c3 in every single game. They won't accomplish anything in the opening. Playing the hedgehog made playing against the london system a joy again, but I don't mind seeing other openings once in a while.
The fork trick is one of my favorite tricks or Double Attack/ Fork.
Yeah it works great, and is quite a common theme with 1.e4 openings!
Fried deliver, 4 knights, and for trick belong with 1.Pe4, which is always the move I play first when white (It is my favorite first move).
Ruy Lopuz, Queens gambit I hate those
If you don't like the facing the ruy you could try out the caro as black, it's really good!
schlecter slav
How can you hate facing this? White has all the play and scores very well; I believe ...g6 really doesn't fit the needs of the position.
I don't like the Four Knight Game. Ugh. So draw-ish due to the symmetry and especially annoying if I'm the Black pieces and the higher rated player. I'm trying to press for more than a draw in a pretty equal position.
Note: I like the Four Knights Scotch Variation, but the regular Four Knights isn't something I like to see come up.
all my schlecter slavs peter out into eighty move games before ending in a decisive result due to time pressure.
