Just what the question says...I love trading down into an endgame. I feel a lot more confident and stronger in the endgame than in a cluttered middlegame, so I'm just wondering what openings tend to lead to quick and many trades.

ruy lopez exchange variation sets up an endgame quickly if force the right trades, it is also so open that you feel like you are in an endgame the whole way.

for black, you get a quick endgame/ no middle game with..

1.e4 d6 2.d4 e5?! 3.dxe5 dxe5 4.Qxd8 Kxd8

Here's a variation in the King's Gambit that gets rid of a lot of pieces.

Conquistador

I have an endgame attack against the Alekhine's Defense.

1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Nd5 3.d4 d6 4.Bc4 Nb6 5.e6!?

This variation uses a temporary bishop sacrifice which will confuse many players on the black side.

After 5...Nxc4 6.exf7+ Kxf7 7.Qf3+ Ke8 8.Qh5+ g6 9.Qb5+ Qd7 10.Qxc4 Qe6+ 11.Qxe6 Bxe6 12.Ne2, you have a five piece endgame.
