What's your all-time favourite opening?

I been moving towards d4 with white or d6 Pirc and c5 Sicilian defense with black. Not so easy opening to master, it’s still a work in progress.

I like the Meran because there are so many move orders and principles and subtleties like should white play the standard 8. Bd3, Capablanca's 8. Be2 or Korchnoi's 8. Bb3, all with their various ups and downs, twists and turns, black king in the centre sometimes and it's fine, principles are the main key but sometimes sharp tactics to keep both players on edge.
It's like the queen's gambit declined in some ways, but the problem with the queen's gambit declined is white always seems at the brink of an inevitable trading down to sterile equality or c5 break and white suddenly has nothing, especially in the lasker and orthodox, the Meran is like a queen's gambit but still retains a fiery imbalance. The Botvinnik also seems interesting but is a bit too sharp and positions end up a bit artificial.
