I'd be happy to see this as Black. White's life is complicated after 4.d5 Nf6 5.Nc3 b5!.

3. Nf3 is better. Most quality opening repertoires strongly favour 3. Nf3. On the other hand, 3. e3 can transpose, but black probably equalizes with 3. ... e5. Engines are still materialistic so want to ensure that they get the pawn back, which 3. e3 achieves. 3. e4 makes a real gambit of it as black really can hold onto the gambit pawn.
I mean, 3.e4 takes control of the center, as is said in the books. In addition, white gains space for his pieces and free the DSB. But I´ve noticed the top players plays always 3.e3. Even the engines shows 3.e3 as their first option. Is there a tactical reason for 3e3 being better than 3e4?
i don't know

Nope.
What were you saying "nope" to?

3.e3 is not better than 3.e4 in the QGA. It's more a matter of taste although 3.e4 seems to be very popular vs the QGA right now.
