16 man, 1. e4 Tournament, 1600+

Like the title says, I want to host a 16 man knockout tournament.  The only stipulations being that the opening move for white needs to be 1. e4, the ratings need to be over 1600 and 3 days a move.

Structure is as follows:

First-Third rounds, one game, random color, winner advances.

The final will be first to win twice, alternating colors each game.

No prize except it will be a good way to get (in theory) a number of high quality games.

First come, first serve.  Good luck guys.

Is this still going ahead? It seems very... slow...

If it is - I'll play. Am just over 1550 at the mo, but I'm sure you can squeeze me in ;) 

My rating is 15something (down from 16something).

By the time the tourny starts I suspect I will be above 1600 again. :) 

Did you necro a 10 year old thread?  Where did you even find it?
