A tournament director can:
- Set tournament conditions
- Modify tournament conditions, if necessary, up to the start of the tournament.
- Make announcements especially about changed tournament conditions
- Invite players
- Remove players who go outside specified ratings range while waiting for the tournament to start. Turn off Auto-Start if important.
- Remove ineligible players if there are conditions not enforced by the site. Best to turn off Auto-Start.
- Remove players for whatever reason between rounds of a multi-round tournament, if the player has no active games, if you do not want them to advance. Nobody advances if Group Leaders are removed or they withdraw.
