If you want another game on this website I vote Fisher random. Checkers is another beast entirely and has little to do at all with chess apart from being another board game.

Fischer random would be good, but so would "checkers" (draughts in my book).
I love draughts very nearly as much as draughts. It's similar to chess, several GMs have been very good at draughts also, i.e. Lasker's brother.

chess.com has it's plate overflowing just trying to build a top chess site. I believe that adding any other game would be ill-advised from numerous perspectives.
Separate, stand-alone sites would be different if one felt they could get a ROI. Seems unlikely with checkers; that would be a gamble. Fischer variant might actually worth an investment - but it is not chess - at least not yet, maybe in a few decades, depending upon the sturm and drang between player demand and chess politics. It is a variant, and not one that I would encourage. However, of all the variants, it has the best chance of someday gaining acceptance - or more.
yeah that was what i meant , the makers of chess.com to make a checkers.com , not on this site , this site should clearly stay chess

Checkers is like tic tac toe. Almost no challenge and, you know the solution. It is like these endless word games, that some people post.

I think Erik should definitely buy checkers.com. That way we could play chess and get fast food at the same place.
