Sorry, I  consider myself a very active member, and I've never heard of him before his nomination. He has not done a lot for everybody, although he has probably done a lot for the select few in his group, of which I'm not classy enough to be a member.

I certainly did not support Lisa, or anybody else.

My point, all along, was that people who the vast majority of regular users, who do not belong to these elitist groups have never heard of, get votes through the groups. These group members NEVER contribute in the forums, except to vote for whoever is suggested in their groups. The reason for this is that they are "too classy" to participate in the public forums (Atudor's words, not mine). Yet they manage to lower their own percieved high standards by condescending to manipulate these classless forums to acknowledge their choice, so that these same classless forums can award them a title.

If these groups want to acknowledge contributions, then it would be best to do this inside that group.

If members of the group come to these forums independantly and regularly, and cast a vote for atudor or mike doyle, that's fine and valid. If he never comes here, except for being informed of this vote through the group, it is campaigning, and invalid, in my opinion.

Relax rooperi he's joking. There is a thread around here somewhere that he started, it is kinda funny.

How about showing some tact which is a lot more important than poli sci in the real world. If I went around calling everybody children and insulting people's hard work I'd be out of a job and without any friends.

But you are wrong in this case, i voted LisaV not because i followed a campaign, in a earlier post a stated already that my votes were for the two i nominated myself, mauerblume and blackfirestorthey didn't pass the 2th and 3th round of the elections, and i did also mention earlier that I liked the pics, videos and comments of LisaV. Even wrote that she could have my vote next month if i still felt so pleased by her comments *that was still in the 2th round* I also do like Femke Janssen (know her from the past, lived closed to me when i was younger and still in the Netherlands, my roots) So very nice to being accused, it's a pity you used my vote to get your right, but being wrong about it. You could have checked or asked.

So please accept my vote as it is, i had my reasons.

And lets be fair, if you can choose between two grosseries, one with a nice green shining appel in the logo and one with rotten appel init, then you go first to the one with the shining appel. At least i would. In my comment i used to use the same pricipal to select my vote after compairing the profiles where i saw tha avatar's.

I can't realy say who's the best, that's why we vote and we can compare our toughts with the choice of the many.

Xenia, according to the guy who runs the thread. But some people don't like Xenia so they proclaimed Mike Doyle the winner.

I don't know Xenia, so I have no opinion on her regarding like/dislike nor her contributions..... 

I do know Mike, and know what he has done within the groups of which we overlap.  If he has given even a small fraction of that input toward the groups which I do not share with him then it is difficult to imagine how he could not be deserving of the honor.

The reason it was controversial is because Doyle had more votes (I think) but some of his supporters went campaigning (in some groups) after proknight said it wasn't allowed.

I thought Doyle lost because crazy CHESS_ASSASSINS' vote got booted in a tie vote, giving Xenia the win?
