We have a sense of humor, but are you funny?

eh, i'd say the trend is this: the better one is at chess, the "less" sense of humor they have. of course its a trend though, so it doesn't apply to everyone.

in all honesty, i think the cultural differences represented on this site somewhat limit any overall humour being communicated. what i think is funny is not what another culture thinks is funny (see British humour...i'll never understand it.)

Ah Ha! This responding specimen is a prime example what I am talking about. This specimen would not reconize humor even if Mr Humor himself ripped this specimen's head off and crapped it down it's neck.

CHEPP - the CHemical Equilibrium Program Package - isn't normally considered a game - but rather serious software. It calculates the chemical equilibrium and thermodynamic properties of reactants and products of a combustion reaction between fuel and air. Users of the package would usually tend to be fairly serious-minded people who - if they possessed a sense of humour - would park it at the door of the laboratory before entering.

Surely this topic belongs in the Off-Topic category. There is little if any relevance to chess - unless the black pieces were made of coal, the white pieces of metallic sodium and the chessboard of ice.
