I am looking for a games collection, or any books by GM Torre. Now that Korchnoi has passed on, Torre is the living legend for us players over 50!
Also, I am married to a Filipina; he's a big hero in the Philippines.
Does anyone know of where I could purchase anything pertaining to him?
I'd love to meet him someday.
Eugene Torre is the first ever asian grandmaster in the world, he beats many great players like Karpov and even Tal!!but why is he inactive right now? Why doesn't he play international tournaments??
