Perhaps a little crazy, but not in an unreasonable way. It's just that your current plan isn't likely to work anytime soon.
Do you know the YT technical reason? It's probably because his comments don't allow links; just submit your game to his "guess the elo" series and see if your game eventually gets selected.
chess.com probably doesn't let you message him because I'm guessing that GothamChess restrictes his messages (as many popular chess streamers do, so they aren't bombarded with messages). Waiting for him to be online doesn't guarantee that he'll coincidentally check your message, or game challenge.
Scale of 1-100 with 100 being crazy, maybe your plan is like a 60? As for as success rate though, it's probably more like a 10; I recommend just reaching his channel the conventional way through guess the elo.
Hey guys!
I was watching a Gotham Chess video when I thought of posting my best game to him so he can review it.
However, I was unable to comment on YT due to some technical issues. Chess.com did not allow me to message him.
Now, I'm trying to find a time when he's online, and then I'll challenge him to a game. I'll send my link in the chat and try to play the game as well as possible.
So...
On a scale of 1 to 100, how crazy am I?
